Way back in 2004 I started blogging on LiveJournal as an “interim” solution while I figured out what blog software I wanted to use. That interim turned out to be about eight years long, with a shift to Posterous a couple years ago. With Posterous being bought by Twitter and having an uncertain future, it seemed like high time to make another switch.
As of today, I’m finally self-hosting my journal; and thanks to the wonders of WordPress, I’ve managed to import both the LiveJournal and Posterous archives into this one. Yay!
