On this day a year ago I toured the house we now live in.
It seemed like a dream. The kind of place you visit on vacation. Not the sort of place people like me get to live in.
Impossibly, it was the same asking price as a flimsy, cramped, maintenance nightmare of a home I’d visited just hours earlier.
In my experience, when things seem too good to be true, they always are. And yet here we are, a year later.
One thing’s for sure: it’s a lot messier now!
