So yesterday was going to be spent helping avivahg get ready for the passover seder. Instead, I spent it in bed sleeping, shivering, and periodically moaning. Yes, I caught teh death. Teh intestinal death, in this case. We called the seder off, since without me to help prepare (avivahg‘s back is still in bad shape) and preside there wasn’t much point.
Today I feel considerably better, albeit still weak and lightheaded. That may be due to having eaten almost nothing in the past 36+ hours as much as anything. I feel out-of-it and vaguely depressed. I don’t know how much is physiological and how much the result of having missed out on pesach and not getting much done today,
After much futzing I have low hopes for getting my new laptop working to the point of usefullness. Oh well, at least I didn’t spend much money on it.
I kinda wanted to go to the bookstore with avivahg today, but I was too lethargic to be ready when she left. Was also gonna get a haircut today, but she accidentally took my debit card with her when she went out.
Things aren’t going my way this weekend. Feel sorry for me, dammit đŸ˜›
Sorry to hear you’re sick. At least you didn’t really miss out on Pesach:
–Numbers 9:[9-11]
I’d say sickness falls into this category as well (and I’m pretty sure the Talmud agrees, though I can’t find the quote). I’ve never known anyone who invoked this commandment before, but it’s been sitting there for you all these millenia.
