Good news!

It ended! And all the protagonists died! Yay!

More fun zombie facts:

Zombies only eat the newly dead when someone’s watching. When no one’s around they leave the corpse untouched so that it can come back to life and stalk the protagonists.

Zombie’s can’t stand the light of a tiny flickering torch, but they’re fine in broad daylight. Or should I say, broad day-for-night.

It’s only dark where zombies are. It’s daylight everywhere else, as you can clearly see on TV. Doesn’t matter if it’s 3AM – darkness is a strictly zombie-centric phenomenon.

  5. Uhh… yeah. It’s a really bad movie.

At the time it was released, it was shocking for some of the content (the young girl eating her mother, for example) but it’s still a poor piece of cinematography. Inconsistent lighting, poor characters, and lots of bad science.

Although I think it did define zombies for later movies. I can’t think of an earlier movie that set down rules for zombies. (Except maybe “I Walked with a Zombie” which also wasn’t that great of a movie.)
