Did you know that long, complex statements can be referenced with short, readable names through the judicious use of constants and functions? Did you know that the length of your code can be substantially reduced without sacrificing clarity using this technique? Won’t you feel that, in retrospect, this was a worthwhile investment of your time when I’m printing out your code so that I can cram it up your ass?
