I’m guessing Stacey and I aren’t alone in falling in love with the song “1234” by Feist that Apple has been using to sell their new iPod Nanos. I just bought the album on Amazon’s super-awesome new totally DRM-free music download store. Then I checked out the music video on YouTube.
Wow. It’s one of the best music videos I’ve ever seen. Leaving aside the fact that it’s just plain fun to watch (something that far to many music videos fail at), it is apparently a single shot from beginning to end. Elaborate choreography, spinning, swooping camera and all – one shot. Amazing.
EDIT: I found a video on the making of the music video. Yup, all one shot. Check out the awesome robotic camera boom – it’s like a freakin’ Canadarm.
That was awesome…thank you for sharing the video…Jesse (Rolsby) and I also really like this one. So, how sad is it that at 2:30-ish in the video I cried out “It’s a scrum!”? Tee-hee…you know, rugby? Anyway, thanks for sharing. It’s in my favorites for youtube now.
