We live busier lives than ever blah blah blah blah.
The scatter-shot approach (do everything; surely SOMETHING will have an
impact) doesn’t pan out.
Simplicity boils down to 2 steps:
- Identify the essential
- Ditch the rest.
Limitations are empowering. E.g. only check email twice a day, and only
answer 5 emails each time (the 2nd is intriguing).
Evaluate every task in the context of it’s impact. Will it matter tomorrow?
A week from now? A month? A year? A hundred years?
Does this task advance me towards my goals?
