Booknotes: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People pp.96-103

What do I want to be remembered for? Most of all, I want people to
have been inspired by me. I want them to have felt they met a spark of
the divine in me, and were moved by that encounter to more closely
embrace their true selves.

The 2nd habit is to Begin with the End in Mind. It deals with
leadership rather than management. All things are created twice: first
in the mind, then in actuality. Management deals with how to get there
form here; leadership determined where “there” is. Leadership often
requires relinquishing management. It may not be as immediately
rewarding at first, because the easy wins aren’t there.

  1. Fantastic book. I reread it every few years and take something different away each time.
