I think this article is dead-on. Unfortunately, I think it’s one of those “never the twain shall meet” issues. The Christians I grew up—heck, the Christian I grew up as—would just say “well yes, that’s the whole point”.
That was a thoughtful article, and was certainly supported with plenty of references. Which of her criticisms do you think were leveled against a faulty implementation of Christianity, and which were leveled against its essence?
