So, are those wild azaleas? Or cultivars gone wild? Are they evergreen or deciduous? I’m just curious. Beautiful! And all your other photos are gorgeous, too. It’s still so wintery here. I look forward to them every morning.
IOW..they were bare of leaves all winter, then bloomed and leafed out (or vv)? That would make them deciduous azaleas, as opposed to the standard broadleaf evergreen azaleas.

They are part of the pre-existing landscaping here… not evergreen.

I *think* they leafed out in the spring… but now I’m not totally sure.
OK, see what they do this fall, then you’ll know. Or ID them with a key, whenever. Either way, they’re pretty!
