Researchers aim to resurrect mammoth in five years

Japanese researchers will launch a project this year to resurrect the long-extinct mammoth by using cloning technology to bring the ancient pachyderm back to life in around five years time, a report said.

I hope they have a couple of plucky kids, a rugged paleontologist, and a lecherous hipster mathematician on hand, or this could get ugly.

    I don’t get the “lecherous hipster mathematician” reference, but to see a mammoth in real life would be fucking awesome. I still hold out hope that someone will make dinosaurs before I die.
