So yeah, now that I’m awake, I forgot to mention: the Dionysus Project kicked ass last night. Mega-extra points for incorporation of clarinet into the music. My eastern-european roots run deep; despite not growing up with that style of music, the merest suggestion of klezmer seems to get my feet moving. I concur with avivahg: why the hell do people just stand around on the dance floor at live shows? Most bands would be more gratified to see people dancing than just standing and staring at them. Oh well; it didn’t keep me from dancing. Their lead singer was adorable as well as talented, I wish I’d made a point of talking to her.

Also: it was nice meeting clockwerks, alannakitty, and eigen_vector.

Today: nice drawn-out weekend sex, then sitting on the patio with my beloved watching a thunderstorm, hopefully a walk in a park, and tonight we’ll be watching darkpool sing with her sister at the local coffee house. My kinda day 🙂
