=)
i am a lit major…we are so not going there:) i have read *counts* 28 of those listed.
/me bows down in awe…
what year are you in??
im an english major, lit minor—i also counted…i’ve got 76 from the list, but im a super senior…
Re: what year are you in??
just swtiched majors…so kinda just getting started. plus i always tend to take the obscure lit classes that can replace the normal boring ones:)
… I’ve read six of those completely… but I have a lot more that I’ve read and not put on there. If it was “have you read a full book by (insert author on this list here,)” I’d have at least 12… including
Shaw, George Bernard – Major Barbara
Dickens, Charles – Great Expectations
Dickens, Charles – Oliver Twist
Hawthorne, Nathaniel – The House of Seven Gables
and Eliot, George – Silas Marner
for starters (and most recently read). So many other good books by those authors… but I suppose the list couldn’t be too long, eh? I’ve also read long portions of others… but quit halfway through. I’m bad about that with books, especially with pressing deadlines for school on *other* books of equal length…
Uhm… sorry for rambling. I do that.
