Remember the old food pyramid? Confusing, wasn’t it? All those little cubbyholes. And honestly, who could stay healthy eating a whole pyramid full of food every day of the week? Clearly, a changes were needed. And the USDA has stepped up to the task, and produced a new pyramid which I thnk you’ll all agree is superior in every way:

Isn’t that so much clearer? It breaks down foods into simple color categories (eat as many oranges as you like, but go easy on the eggplant!) Plus, that jaunty figure to the left leads the way up the pyramid towards a healthy, happy, food-free existance!
