OMG I’m in New Wave heaven. I just picked up Alphaville – Forever Young (the album). I feel like I just mainlined a synthesizer.

P.S. Tibetan Monks have REAL ULTIMATE POWER (This message brought to you by the movie Bulletproof Monk)

  3. Wow….Alphaville takes me back a long time ago. I must have lost my album of that release. But I still have my 3 “12” inch maxi singles by them on vinyl (“Forever Young”, “The Jet Set”, and “Big In Japan”).

I still have my Alphaville’s outstanding “Afternoons In Utophia” on cd. I going to wipe the dust off the cd cover and pop into my computer for a spin right now.

Let’s not forget A-Ha’s “Hunting Hi and Low” came out around that same time (1985). I going to take that cd for a spin as well. Retroactive music is here to stay.

    1. Oops

Now, I remember, it must be my advancing age. I just found my release of “Forever Young” by Alphavillie on Cassette tape. Have not played it in awhile. Cool release.
