well I guess I will really be dragging by the time I drive the over hour commute from work to the gym and then workout.

I work out every morning and it always helps me throughout the day… whenever I don’t do it is when I feel lethargic…
so there! 😛
I think there is a critical mass point you have to get to, where your body expects to exert energy, and you begin to feel better for having done so.
That means exercise more. Your body has to get used to the endorphine rush.
