Just finished packaging up a faulty emulator to be sent back for service. Was writing up the shipping label with the help of the team leader. For “Declared Value” we decided on $13,000.
Sometimes I forget how expensive the toys I get to play with are.

I used to love it when I’d be hauling servers down to our datacenter cage in Virginia in my old car. The total combined value of all those servers probably eclipsed my old car’s value by a factor of 10 or more.

What kind of emulator?
Apparently it can emulate quite a few things, but we’re using it for in-circuit emulation of an M68000 CPU.
